Greenpower Energy Limited is an Australian Publicly Listed Company which is undertaking exploration and development activities within a number of Australian on-shore Exploration Licences.

Greenpower’s primary aim is identify and secure low emission technology with which to develop its Coal and Gas assets.

Greenpower Energy Limited was incorporated in 1899, as ‘Gunnedah Colliery Company’ (changed to Gunnedah Coal Company (GCC) in 1985), and GCC mined coal at Gunnedah, in NSW, continuously, until 1997, when it sold the Gunnedah coal mine.

In May 2007 GCC changed its name to Greenpower Energy Limited (Greenpower), then, in September 2007 issued a prospectus, and in March 2008 listed its shares on the ASX. GERARD KING Gerard King graduated in law from the University of Western Australia, then after articles with Sir John Lavan, was admitted as a solicitor in 1965. He became a partner in the law firm Lavan amp; Walsh, senior partner in 1978. In 1985 the firm became Phillips Fox Perth (It is now Lavan Legal).

John Watts graduated B.Sc. majoring in geology, with honours, from the University College of Wales at Aberystwyth in the United Kingdom, in 1968. Arriving in Australia that year, he commenced employment with the Bureau of Mineral Resources, being dispatched from Canberra to the Northern Territory.
