Another Senator Defects to the All Progressives Congress
The All Progressives Congress has added another feather to its wings at the National Assembly level as it welcomes a new member.
Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, member representing Delta Central Senatorial District, in the upper chamber has defected from the Labour Party (LP) to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Omo-Agege announced his defection during the Senate plenary session today. What led to Omo-Agege’s defection was yet to be known as at the time of filing this report.
His APC counterparts have welcomed him with open arms as they continue to gather numerical strength in the Red Chamber.
