Each Bank of America scholarship winner will enroll in the yearly Student Leadership Summit held in Washington, D.C., and benefit from paid summer internships with nearby NGOs.

Requirements

  1. Applicant must be a senior or junior presently in high school and maintaining decent grades.
  2. Candidates are required to work 35 hours per week at a local charity or charitable organization for an 8-week summer internship that Bank of America will choose.
  3. Applicant must be ready to participate in 2026, Student Leaders Summit held in Washington, DC (The Student Leaders program covered all costs. This week counts toward your eight-week experience.)
  4. Applicant must obtain a reference letter from a guidance counselor, teacher, or school administrator, and then submit an online application for this scholarship.

NOTE: The family members or employees of Bank of America are not eligible to be nominated. The definition of family includes the employee’s spouse or domestic partner, offspring (including via adoption), grandparent, parent, grandchild, uncle, sibling, cousin, aunt, niece, nephew, parent-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and all step-ties.

Other Important Information

Applications are being accepted for the 2023 program through the 13th of January, 2023. In April 2023, students who have received nominations will be updated on the status of their applications. You will be required to provide the contact details of your recommender in your application. Your recommender will be sent an email (BY; do not reply@cybergrants.com) with an URL and your request I.D. once your application has been filed successfully. They may use that link to submit your letter. They will require your application I.D. to complete this, so kindly note this.

All letters sent via the URL must be acknowledged by Monday, the 16th of January, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Irrespective of how the letter is submitted, all submissions must still be received by Friday, the 13th of January, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. There will be no acceptance of late letters or applications.
