Barbizon College Tuition Scholarship Program – Requirements and How to Apply

Barbizon International offers a $100,000 University Tuition Scholarship to help individuals reach their higher education aspirations. The scholarship aims to assist industrious students to succeed in their academics because it firmly believes that education is one of the most significant investments youths can make in their future.

Every year, a random drawing is used to pick and award the $100,000 in college tuition for the Barbizon International Scholarship to one highly school student in the United States. All around the United States, high schools have entry forms available for applying this scholarship.

Requirements

To qualify, you must meet the prerequisites listed below:

  1. Be a prospective undergraduate student studying in the United States. That is, you are obligated to enroll in a university, four-year college, or two-year college in the United States.
  2. Be a US citizen.
  3. Part-time and full-time students are eligible.
  4. Puerto Rican residents only Barbizon, its associates, affiliates, promotional and advertising agencies, and each of their superiors, directors, personnel, and agents (collectively, “Sponsor and its agents”) are not eligible, nor are members of each of their close families or those sharing the same home eligible for this scholarship award.

How to Apply

To apply for this scholarship, you must fill out an official entry form, which you can get at any Barbizon center, at a special event, or online at www.barbizonmodeling.com/scholarships between January 1st, 2026, and December 31st, 2026.

Facsimiles or entries made mechanically are not permitted.

DRAWING

From all qualifying entries, winners will be chosen randomly by December 1st, 2023. The Sponsor or its representative will conduct the drawing and serve as the contest’s judge. Their judgments in all contest-related matters are final and binding.

Winners will be contacted on or before December 31st, 2023, and must sign and submit an affidavit of participation and release from responsibility to the Sponsor before 14 days of the notification date to avoid prize forfeiture the selection of a substitute winner.

Any prize notification returned as an incorrect address will result in the winner’s disqualification and an alternative selection.

PRIZE AND CHANCE OF WINNING

The winner will be awarded a grant of approximately $100,000 to cover four years of college tuition at the accredited school or university of their choice, excluding technical and vocational colleges and technical colleges. On behalf of the winner, the tuition award will be directly transferred to the institution. The prize does not include lodging, food, literature, supplies, transportation, or any other not specifically listed charges or expenses. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) will vary depending on the college tuition selected.

The number of valid entries received determines the odds of winning. The winner must begin classes within three years of completing high school or the date of winner notice, whichever comes later, and must be admitted at a recognized university or college, excluding technical or vocational institutions and technical colleges, based on individual merit.

Whether the winner completes college or not, the Barbizon International’s obligation to pay the winner’s tuition will expire four years after the  initial payment.The winner must give the Barbizon International information on their tuition payments and proof of enrollment before the prize is awarded.

CONDITION OF PRIZE RECIEPT

If a juvenile receives a prize, the parent or guardian of the child is needed to sign the paperwork. There are no monetary alternatives or substitute prizes. The award cannot be transferred. If any taxes, including federal, state, and local taxes, are incurred due to the winner accepting and using the prize, they are their responsibility. A 1099 tax return for the estimated sales price of the prize will be provided to the winner by Barbizon International.
